Laliptur, Nepal

We arrived in the Kathmandu Valley via Tribhuvan International Airport, which lies 5.5 km east of Kathmandu. You can take prepaid taxis, buses or rent a car . I had the superior idea to rent a bike or go by foot, yeah right that was the dumbest idea ever my feet were killing me. Luckily everything was located close together. The next time I have an idea like that please try to talk me out of it, one advantage is that we have seen a lot of historical buildings during our walk.

Durbar Central Square
Again religion is very present in this city, you have several religious sites you can visit like the Krisnhna Mandir, The Golden Temple and Jagan Narayan Temple. A must-see is Durbar

Central Square, it is surrounded by palace country yards and local shops. The square certainly reflects the culture and rituals of the local inhabitants, it is just a very cosy and historical place. Afterwards we decided to explore the Golden Temple and what strikes me is that we are all  interested for architecture and culture. Once I travelled  with my sister who has total different interests and then you have to try to do good for everyone that is what I call a real challenge.
The Golden Temple

Suddenly Ulrike had the crazy idea to follow a Yoga class  in the Pranamaya Yoga Studio. Thomas was not really into it so he was the photographer at service. The residents are very religious and the spiritual aspect is very present, it is important that body and mind are on the same wavelength. After the session I have to admit I am not so loan as used to be but we all enjoyed it and that is the most important. Because I have chosen to visit Durbar Central Square and Ulrike the Yoga class, Thomas and Delphine had to pick out a nice restaurant to end another adventurous day.
